As a Product Manager for FUGA, you will be responsible for delivering incredible value to our customers, who represent some of the most culturally significant record labels, distributors and management companies in the music industry.

We empower those customers with a full suite of products to run their digital business, including content ingestion, catalogue management, supply chain, analytics and royalty reporting solutions. FUGA is the leading technical partner for the independent music industry, and we’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited to collaborate with us in this rewarding and challenging domain.

You’ll be part of a new team formed to build and own a market-leading experience for Splits & Payments workflows, helping ensure FUGA’s labels, as well as their artists and creative contributors, receive the royalties they’re due in a timely, efficient and transparent way.

Candidates for this role can be based in The Netherlands, Germany, Italy or United Kingdom.

What will I be doing?

  • Engage with stakeholder groups including partnerships, accounting and finance, cross-functional team leads, operations and business development to capture product requirements

  • Work with the engineering team to translate these requirements into user stories and technical requirements that will be used for delivery using an agile approach

  • Structure broad and complex solutions into manageable pieces that are aligned to phasing determined by business needs, including incremental rollout plans and iterative releases

  • Manage roadmaps for various audiences (e.g. executives, commercial teams, development teams, etc.) that capture high-level business objectives, program-level initiatives & solutions, customer-oriented features, and architectural views

  • Partner closely with Product Design and Engineering to drive discovery and definition of future music industry products in the financial services domain, starting with Splits & Payments

  • Develop and employ quantitative and qualitative measures to evaluate the effectiveness of our solutions, both in MVP state and after full release

Requirements

  • You have extensive experience as a Product Manager

  • You have successfully taken new products from inception to market launch, and can share these learnings with the team

  • Experience with financial services products and their associated challenges is strongly preferred, including compliance, audit and data privacy risks. Music industry experience is desirable but secondary

  • You possess advanced analytical and numerical skills. You’re comfortable with Excel calculations, algorithms and detail-oriented analysis of financial data

  • Proficiency with software development methodologies such as Agile and experience working with Scrum teams

  • Experience with Agile software development tools such as Jira or other Agile reporting tools

  • Familiarity with the technical architecture of complex web applications, cloud infrastructure and customer-facing APIs. You are as comfortable participating in discussions with the engineering team about data retention and platform scalability as you are working with a product designer to improve user experience

  • Demonstrated capabilities in technical-oriented business analysis techniques and user acceptance testing processes/methodologies in large, complex, diversified, global organizations
