Sales Coordinator - Record Labels and Music Services

Job description

FUGA, a leading digital music distribution platform headquartered in Amsterdam, is currently looking for a Sales Coordinator based in our New York office to support our global business development team.

 

What you do

In addition to being a front-facing liaison with prospects and clients, your responsibilities will include coordinating internal sales work with the finance department and client services team, including:

  • Attend to and answer sales enquiries

  • Assist in discovery, lead qualification, and outreach to prospective clients

  • Perform demos of our products and services to prospective clients

  • Assist Director of Sales where necessary

  • Provide sales and administrative support to regional sales teams

  • Be internal point of contact for finance department and client services department

  • Create support documentation, training guides and procedures

  • Coordinate meetings with global team

Requirements

Who you are

You are a very well-organized, natural communicator and have experience dealing directly with clients. 

 

Some of the core qualities and capabilities we feel are required for this role are: 

  • College degree or similar
  • 2 or more years of experience in a client facing sales or support role
  • Independent worker / thinker / planner
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Motivated to develop ones skill base
  • Organized and comfortable tracking and prioritizing multiple issues
  • Able to work under (time) pressure

  • Speak a second language (preferably Spanish)

  • Have music industry experience in digital operations

  • Know how FUGA or a similar music delivery platform works

  • Knowledge of the digital music consumer landscape
