The Systems and Infrastructure team’s purpose is to:
Increasing developer confidence and understanding of their product stacks
Providing a stable, reliable, and scalable platform to run production instances
Improving employee productivity and collaboration experience by providing the best systems and hardware for the job
Securing the intellectual property of FUGA, its employees, and its clients
As a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Systems and Infrastructure team, you will be sharing responsibilities for supporting and maintaining our existing CI/CD tools and infrastructure, and driving DevOps modernization projects.
Owning and managing GCP IAM policies and access control for developers
Working extensively using Kubernetes/Helm/Ansible
Managing and scaling our Terraform configuration
Managing and optimizing our Elastic search infrastructure (on-prem and cloud) supporting critical business applications
CI/CD tools - GitHub (Actions), Jenkins, GCR, SonarCloud, Nexus
Logging tools - Prometheus/Grafana and ELK
Troubleshooting developer environments
Creating and keeping up-to-date documentation of all the above
You have at least 5 years of infrastructure and DevOps experience
You have worked in hybrid-infrastructure organizations (datacenter and Google Cloud)
You have hands-on administrator experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, and ELK
You are able to operate through ambiguity and drive decisions through consensus
You have prior experience in helping organizations transition from a startup culture to an enterprise organization
You are able to own and provide hands-on support to existing automation and standardization projects
You are a team player, understand the challenges of a small team, and are able to prioritize between strategic thinking and addressing low-level urgent tasks
