As a Senior Frontend Engineer for FUGA, you will be responsible for developing, prototyping, and conceptualizing the current and future frontend architecture that powers the FUGA distribution platform.
Your responsibilities will also extend to the improvement of the frontend development process in collaboration with other stakeholders, creating clear user experience journeys, and ensuring that the frontend platform scales according to our growth. You will be working closely with other senior frontend engineers at FUGA whilst shaping the direction of the frontend stack, collaborating on a larger scale re-architecture of the platform.
Senior members of the Core Services Group are responsible for:
Work with non-technical stakeholders and Product team members to create solutions for the needs of our clients.
Collaborate with other engineers in an agile environment through planning, sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
Build, maintain, and lead the frontend components of the FUGA platform
Work together with the rest of the team to improve the overall code quality and modernize various aspects of the application.
Write automated tests for new features as you build them and help with adding tests for existing features where there are gaps.
Assist with monitoring the application’s overall health and performance as well as resolving issues when they arise.
As a member of the Splits & Payments team you will specifically be responsible for initializing the build of a new component / product line by:
5+ years of experience developing complex frontend applications at scale
3+ years of experience working with React
Experience with HTML, CSS, and preprocessors such as SCSS and Webpack
Deep understanding of user experiences and user journeys on products
You have a product-oriented mindset and empathy for the users
Experience leading initiatives and clearly communicating to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in agile environments, preferably Scrum or Kanban.
